All data is used solely to provide app functionality. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties beyond what is described below.THIRD-PARTY AI SERVICESAnthropic Claude (Lucy AI Chat)
When you use the Lucy chat feature, your messages and relevant journal excerpts are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses. Anthropic does not retain this data or use it to train their models. This feature can be disabled in Profile → Privacy & Security.OpenAI Whisper (Voice Journaling)
When you record a voice journal entry, the audio is sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. The audio is processed immediately and not retained. Only the resulting text is saved to your journal. This feature can be disabled in Profile → Privacy & Security.USER CONSENT & CONTROL
Both AI features require your consent during onboarding. You can enable or disable either feature at any time from Profile → Privacy & Security. Disabling Lucy AI hides the chat feature. Disabling Voice Journaling hides the mic button.ENCRYPTION
Journal entries and chat messages are encrypted using AES-256 on your device before being stored. Your encryption keys never leave your device.DATA STORAGE
We use Supabase for secure data storage and authentication.DATA DELETION
